Have you suffered a breach of contract at work?
If you have left a job and do not feel you have been properly compensated as per your contract, you may be able to claim for breach of contract.
What counts as a breach of contract?
Breach of contract could include claims such as unpaid wages, bonuses, or holiday pay. The maximum amount a tribunal is entitled to order to be paid is £25,000.
How ELS Solicitors can help
You can only bring a claim at the employment tribunal if the claim arises or is outstanding on the termination of your employment and is brought within three months of the last day of your employment.
Your employer may bring a counterclaim at the employment tribunal for breach of contact against you if you have brought a claim for breach of contract. They have six weeks from the day that they receive your claim for breach of contract from the employment tribunal to do so.
We can act for you and deal with any counterclaims, helping you negotiate the minefield that is employment law. We will advise you on your best course of action and will seek the best possible outcome for you.
